Software-Definable
Focus where you want
The fastest flash LiDAR on the market makes this well-suited for ground and air robotics or industrial applications – systems that all share a need for fast, accurate and high-resolution sensors that can reliably define and track objects in all environmental conditions.

Continuous Wave
Time-of-Flight
Our state of the art optical sensors work in all weather conditions because they have to.
In the darkest of night or the most intense direct sunlight, our sensors, combined with advanced image processing and machine learning, detect and track multiple objects simultaneously.

Near-Field
Focus on what matters
From pre-crash to self-parking and robotic warehousing applications, the objects of most concern occupy the near-field (~20m or less from the system). In these close quarters, the most useful sensors are the fastest and most accurate.

Wide-Eyed
120° x 80° FOV
Our sensors provide an extraordinarily broad FOV, even when operating at full frame rate, for excellent area coverage in a small, low-power package.
150Hz Fast
Fast enough to launch
an airbag before impact
PreAct was formed to develop the extremely fast and accurate sensors needed to enable pre-crash systems. At a max speed of 150 fps (frames per second), it can respond in time: even at extreme closing speeds of over 150 kph.

Millions in Advanced DARPA Funded Research & Development
PreAct is based on $100 million worth of Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) investments over more than a decade, dedicated to creating technologies to save lives through active protection systems. These advanced systems have proven the precision and effectiveness of fast optical sensors combined with edge processing for extremely high-speed responses.
